How to Acquire a Ragdoll Kitten from BellaPalazzo

BellaPalazzo Kittens are available to approved homes only on a first come- first serve basis. I breed Ragdolls because I adore the cats and their incredible temperament, as well as their health, beauty and grace. BellaPalazzo Ragdolls breeding cats come from our own breeding, with a few additions from some of the best internationally known breeders.

If you are interested in a Ragdoll kitten from BellaPalazzo, you must complete and return an application When you
contact me by email
I will send you my application. Your completed application will be reviewed and I will let you know what is available at that time. If I do not get back to you in a reasonable amount of time, PLEASE contact me again. Email is not always reliable!

Please do not contact me by phone until you have completed and returned an application.

If there is a kitten available that I feel would be suitable for your family, you will be given the opportunity to reserve that kitten by sending a deposit. This deposit will be used to pay for the spay/neuter of your Ragdoll kitten. I will reserve your pet kitten in your name until he/she is ready to go home (between 13 -16 weeks of age). Deposits are non-refundable. Please feel free to contact me with questions at any time during this process.

About Vaccines

BellaPalazzo Ragdoll kittens are raised in my home, and have been cuddled and kissed from the day they are born. We handle them daily to check and record weight gain, and play with them with toys as soon as they are mobile.

BellaPalazzo kittens, when available, are placed according to their quality. Quality is judged on how closely the kitten conforms to the Ragdoll breed standard.

Kittens are often considered pet quality due to some particular feature that does not meet the breed standard. An example of these may be the placement of their white markings, the length of their tail, the size or placement of their ears etc. The traits that would make them pet quality will not interfere with their ability to provide your family with years of love and companionship.

All kittens placed as pets will be altered before leaving BellaPalazzo.

This saves you the worry of having it done, and allows me to insure the surgery and is done safely, and correctly.

for New Owners of BellaPalazzo Ragdoll Kittens

Breeders:

I will only allow kittens to be placed unaltered with breeding contracts to people who I have interviewed extensively and have established a relationship of trust with. I am very devoted to my kittens and will only place them in the very best of homes, including kittens placed into a breeding program.

I have made mistakes in my placement and that was with breeders in Florida who violated their signed contract agreements and required me to obtain the services of an attorney to force the return of the cats. I feel that the welfare and happiness of all kittens produced by BellaPalazzo are my responsibility for life. More urgent than contract violations, these kitties were in serious danger. I am posting this here as a warning to other breeders and buyers in hopes that no one else will have to go through the suffering and sadness that my cats and I had to endure. The cats do not deserve this.

All kittens sold for breeding will be sold with breeding restrictions, which will be strictly enforced. BellaPalazzo cats will not be used as kitten factories. Breeding cats from BellaPalazzo will be loved and honored as a contribution to the future of the Ragdoll breed and to each breeders goals of improving their own program.

Correctly marked Ragdoll kittens of excellent type and temperament may be placed as Show/Alter or Show/Breeder.

I do NOT ship kittens

BellaPalazzo Ragdolls is located in western Connecticut. I will only place kittens with owners who can come to pick up their kitten in person. I like to meet the new parents of my kittens. If you live out of state, you will have to arrange to come here to get your kitten. I do not ship kittens. You must pick up and hand carry your kitten home.
